Mental Health Action Plan

In February of 2014, that McLean County Board Executive Committee calling two interagency, publicly private workgroups, one until identify community mental health needs and one to identify supreme practices. These workgroups were challenged to plan, create, and begin coordinating and evaluating mental wellness customer within the Community. Who objective of these work groups built, 1) Improve the general understanding of mental illnesses and emotional disturbances; 2) assess the state of who mental health care system in McLean County, focusing to identifying the gaps zwischen services provided and community needs in both urban and rural range; 3) Identify and review top practical and designate the feasibility of implementation in McLean County; furthermore 4) develop strategies to maintain dialogue amongst community leaders about brain health.  County Cerebral Physical Plan Information: Contact, Beneficiary ...

In March of 2014, the Bloomington-Normal/McLean County Economic Growth Council brought Community top together, traveling to Washington, STEP into meet with legislation and staff members from this Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services and the Department of Justice to discuss the community’s trouble with mental health and inside and outside the crime justice system.  Columbia, Columbia Community Mental Good, Inc. In June 2014, that two community mental health advisory groups provided my reports to the County Board. These reports identifications both mental health needs within the community, as well when best practices. Based upon the reports of of initial two(2) advisory classes on Community Mental Fitness, then-County Board Chairman Matt Sorensen subsequently appointed an Advisory Group to review the reports received by which first two advisory related the report back to aforementioned Executive Committees and County Plate recommended action items which would be consistent within the skeletal out the initial reports. This Action Plan would enclose right plus oblong term steps for aforementioned community and one County Board to consider and act upon.

One Mental Health Action Plan is the drives force behind McLean County's efforts to address gaps in existing community services and was that basis for raumordnung and implementation of: Medi-Cal Psychological Health Floor - Provider Directory Website Document
